Patricia Ann Barbaro, of Village Court, Kingston died Sunday, January 30, 2011 at her home. She was 64. She was born in Manhattan, a daughter of Peter DeNota and the late Florence M. Knoblock DeNota. Patricia was raised in Bohemia and later lived in Bayport. A graduate of Suffolk Community College, she received a Associates Degree in Nursing. As a Registered Nurse she worked, from 1968 - 2002 at Sagamore Children's Center, Dix Hills. Patricia moved from Patchogue to Kingston in 2003 to spend time with her beloved granddaughters. Beloved mother of Kelly Weisbecker and her husband Peter of Tivoli, loving daughter of Peter DeNota and the late Florence DeNota; beloved grandmother of Grace Anne and Emily Rose Weisbecker; sister of John Burke and his wife Sokhom of Sharon, NH, Sue Jones and her husband Robert of Summerville, SC, Mary Hodes and her husband Doug of W. Shokan and the late Peter; former wife of Michael J. Barbaro; aunt to many nieces and nephews. Reposing at the Simpson - Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave., Kingston on Friday from 3:00 - 7:00 p.m. A prayer service will be conducted at 6:00 p.m. Private cremation will be in Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Ulster County SPCA, 20 Wiedy Rd, Kingston, NY 12401-1237.
