Patricia A. Davis

Kingston- Patricia A. "Pitz" Davis passed away on Thursday, October 10, 2013 at home. She was 69. Born on November 4, 1943 in Rochester, NY she was the daughter of the late Christian and Genevieve Helfer.




She did her laboratory technician training at the University of Rochester, Strong Memorial Hospital.


For many years Pitz worked as a Medical Laboratory Technician for the City of Kingston Laboratory.




Pitz was a great supporter of the Clearwater and its efforts to clean up the Hudson River and the environment. She loved spending time on the Rondout and anywhere along the Hudson River. She also volunteered at the Maritime Museum, enjoyed painting and was an avid reader. Pitz was very interested in astronomy; often studying the sky and working with star charts. She was interested in space exploration and watching NASA TV on her computer.




Entrusted to the care of the Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, 326 Albany Avenue, Kingston, a Memorial Reflections Service will be on Saturday, October 26 at 2:00pm.
