P. K. Koshy, 99, of Kingston, died Monday, January 19, 2015 at Ten Broeck Commons. Born in Kerala, India, he was a son of the late P.I. & Sara Koshy. He was a member of Old Dutch Church. He enjoyed reading, church activities, his two pet dogs, Zoe and Mia and his cat Ash. He is survived by his son, Dr. Thomas Koshy and his wife Jamie of Kingston, one sister, Annamma Varkey of Kerala, India, three grandchildren, Gina Menendez and her wife, Sandy, Naveen Koshy and his wife Sheena and Adrian Koshy and his wife Kristie. One great granddaughter, Estelle and many nieces and nephews also survive. In addition to his parents, P.K. was predeceased by his wife of 72 years, Thankamma Varkey Koshy whom he married in October of 1941 and who passed in 2013 and his daughter, Shirley Koshi who passed in 2014. P. K. will be reposing at the Simpson-Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave on Saturday, January 24, 2015 from 11:00-12:30 PM. The funeral will process to Old Dutch Church for a 1:00 PM funeral service conducted by Rev. Kenneth Walsh. Interment will be private. The family requests that memorial donations be made to the Ten Broeck Commons Resident Council, One Commons Drive, Lake Katrine, NY 12499.
