Olive M. Worrell "Betty" of Red Hook, NY formerly of Cocoa, FL and Sayville, L.I., NY passed away peacefully on Dec. 30, 2007 at Benedictine Hospital in Kingston, NY with family by her side. She was 86.
Born Dec. 29, 1921 in the Bronx to George Meyerhoff and Lucretia Fadden. She grew up in Queens.
On Nov. 28, 1942 she married William Worrell Sr. who predeceased her on Mar. 20, 1994.
Survivors include 3 sons, William J. Worrell and Doreen of Red Hook, Rodney Worrell and Sally of Flushing, Gary Worrell and Debra of Sayville; 2 grandchildren; Carolina Worrell of Flushing and Alexander Worrell of Sayville and three step-grandchildren, Dana, Alicia and Thomas.
Also surviving are a sister, Hazel Clement of Manchester, CT; a brother Rodney Meyerhoff and Linda of Turnersville, NJ; 2 sisters-in-law, Margaret Meyerhoff of Lindenhurst, NY, Ruth Meyerhoff of Vernon, CT and many nieces and nephews.
Predeceasing her are 2 sisters, Ruth Dec, Ethyl Glode; 2 brothers, Albert and George Meyerhoff. Funeral arrangements are at the convenience of the family. No calling hours.
