Olive Jane Beaty

Olive Jane Beaty, 90, died Thursday, October 16 at her residence in Golden Hill Health Care Center in Kingston, NY.

Born in Beaver Falls, PA she was a lifelong member of the United Methodist Church.
After graduating from high school in Philipsburg, PA, where she excelled on the women's basketball team, she went on to graduate from Altoona Pennsylvania School of Business.
She married Roy in 1946; they lived in PA and Dundee, NY, retiring to Apache Junction, AZ.

She is survived by her sister, Hazel Ashcroft of Philipsburg, PA; her two daughters, Ann Svec of Port Ewen, NY and Amy Geer of Kodiak, AK; a son, Alan Beaty of Painted Post, NY; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Golf, bowling, fishing and travel were among her many hobbies.

Calling hours are Thursday October, 23 from 5-7pm at Keyser Funeral Home on Albany Ave. in Kingston, NY with a memorial service immediately following led by Rev. David Geer.

She will be buried in Grandview Cemetery, Johnstown, PA, at a later date.
