Olga Michlewski

Olga R. Michlewski, 87 of Kingston, died Wednesday, August 25, 2010 at The Kingston Hospital. She was born January 17, 1923 in Mt. Kisco, NY to the late Albert and Celia Barrett Lundquist.




She was married to Rudolph Joseph Michlewski Sr. who passed away on June 26th 1988 after 40 years of marriage.




She graduated from Mt. Kisco High School and then was co-owner along with her husband Rudy of the Dew Drop Inn, Eddyville. Olga was a wonderful mother and friend who loved her interior design work having attended Ulster County Community College for a degree in Interior Design along with her daughter Faith. She also loved music. You would frequently find her with song.




She was a parishioner of Holy Cross Episcopal Church on Pine Grove Avenue in Kingston.




Olga is survived by her beloved children, Franklin Be and his wife Violetta of San Fransico, Rudolph Michlewski Jr. and his wife Dawn of Marbletown, Craig Michlewski and his wife Mary of Cottekill, Faith Auriemmo and her husband Frank of Kingston, a dear friend Francis "Jeff" Brannen, 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.




In addition to her husband and parents she is predeceased by her siblings, Carl Lundquist, Harold Lundquist, Eleanor Downey, Anna King and Esther Lundquist.




Entrusted to the care of the A. Carr & Son Funeral Home, 65 Lucas Ave, Kingston, NY 12401, where the procession will form on Saturday at 9:15 AM and proceed to Holy Cross Episcopal Church where at 10:00 AM a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated.




Burial will follow in Wiltwick Cemetery.




Friends may call on Friday from 4 - 7 pm at the funeral home.




The family suggests in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be made to the wonderful staff at Golden Hill Health Care Facility, c/o Activities Fund, 99 Golden Hill Drive, Kingston, NY 12401
