Norma Thiel Kittle, of Kingston, died Saturday evening December 21, 2013 at Health Alliance Hospital, Mary's Ave. Campus, Kingston. Norma was the wife of the late Jenner R. Kittle, married 61 years, who died on October 23, 2004. She was born May 24, 1921 in Kingston, the daughter of the late Katharina Melbert Thiel and Henry Adam Thiel

Norma is survived by her son Richard G. Kittle and his wife Carol of Kinderhook, and Kenneth B. Kittle and his wife JoAnn of Margaretville, grandmother of Darryl and wife Cathleen of Valatie, Darren and wife Katherine of Pleasant Valley Richard Eric and Loretta Ryan Kittle of North Greenbush and Devin of Margaretville. Great grandmother of Bradley, Sarah, Samantha, Timothy and Jenner, and several nieces and nephews including Ruth Roberts Snyder and husband Paul, Douglas Doyle and wife Wanda, Gail Salewski and Pamela Doyle.

Norma was a lifetime member of Trinity Lutheran Church on Spring St in Kingston. She was a graduate 1938 graduate of Kingston High School and a 1942 graduate of the Kingston Hospital School of Nursing. She was a member of the Kingston Hospital Alumnae Association. Norma worked as a general duty nurse at the Kingston Hospital and as a private duty nurse. She was employed by Dr. Hamilton Boyd for 5 years.

Entrusted to the care of Eric Keyser, Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, 326 Albany Avenue, where the family will receive their friends on Friday from 2 - 5pm.

The service will be held in the spring at a time to be announced. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Trinity Lutheran Church, 72 Spring St. Kingston, NY 12401
