Nicholas Bortugno

Nicholas "Nick" Bortugno, 90, of Kingston, passed Monday morning at the Benedictine Hospital. He was born February 21, 1922 in Deerfield, MA the son of the late Joseph and Josephine Bortugno.




He served in the US Army during World War II, European Theater of Operations.


He had been employed by Met Life Insurance, Parkchester, NY as a plumber for 40 years.




He was the husband Louise Bortugno, they celebrated their 66th wedding anniversary on December 15th Father of Concetta Savarese, 8 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren.




Entrusted to the care of Eric Keyser, A. Carr & Son Funeral Home, 65 Lucas Ave, Kingston, visitation Thursday 10 - 11 am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12 noon at St. Joseph's RC Church.


Burial in Saratoga National Cemetery.
