Nathaniel Karron of Lighthouse Dr., Saugerties died suddenly Saturday, February 19, 2011 at Kingston Hospital. He was 48.
He was born in Brooklyn, a son of the late Edward and Marian Lipp Karron.
He was a self-employed builder. He was an active member of Temple Emanuel in Kingston. His kids were everything to him and he enjoyed collecting primitive antiques, building restorations, and being by the water. He attended Long Beach High School, Washington State University and SUNY New Paltz.
Surviving is his wife, Diana Deppner Karron, his daughter, Joan, his son Edward and two step-children, Saman and Shaheen Soltankhan.
Also surviving are two brothers, Daniel Karron of Long Beach, NY; Abraham Karron of Manasquan, NJ and his sister, Amiee Idan of West Caldwell, NJ. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, 3:00 PM at Temple Emanuel by Rabbi Yael Romer. His wife and children will sit Shiva at their home on Tuesday, February 22, 2011 from 6PM - 8PM and on Sunday, February 27, 2011 from 3PM - 5PM.
