Naomi McGinnis

Naomi McGinnis, 95, of Hurley passed peacefully October 4, 2015 at the Mountainside Residential Care Center, Margaretville, NY. She was born June 29, 1920 in Kingston the daughter of the late Raymond and Gertrude Libolt. She was the wife of the late Charles T. McGinnis, they had been married for 53 years, he died on July 5, 2001.


She was a graduate of Kingston High School, in her early years she had worked for the St. John's Insurance Agency. Naomi enjoyed needle work, camping and traveling, in later years they spent many winter months in Florida.


Naomi is survived by her sons Randy D. McGinnis and his wife Kelly of Hurley, Gary W. McGinnis and his wife Marie of Tully, NY, three grandchildren, Kyla McGinnis, Michael McGinnis and his wife Samantha and Matthew McGinnis.


Entrusted to the care of Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, 326 Albany Avenue, Kingston. The family will receive their friends on Friday from 4-7. The service will be held Saturday at 10am.


The family suggests in lieu of flowers memorial contributions to Alzheimer's Association, 2 Jefferson Plaza, Poughkeepsie, NY 12601.
