Nancy Witkowski

d. August 31, 2022

Nancy Witkowski, 68, a lifelong resident of Kingston, died Wednesday, August 31, 2022, peacefully at her home surrounded by her husband, daughter, and many other loving family members.

In addition to her mother, Martha (Erts) Laford, Nancy is survived by her husband, Joseph A. Witkowski of Kingston, their daughter, Jocelyn Witkowski of Kingston, a sister, Barbara Withall of Kingston, a brother, Larry Laford and his wife, Cheryl of Connecticut. Four nieces and three nephews also survive.

In addition to her late father, Louis Laford, Nancy was recently predeceased by her brother-in-law, Stephan Withall of Kingston.

Nancy graduated from Kingston High School in 1972. After High School, Nancy worked as an Aide at Highland Nursing Home for many years, as well as a Medical Assistant for Dr. Shah on Hurley Avenue in Kingston. When her daughter Jocelyn was born, Nancy chose to stay home and devote all of her time and energy as a fantastic homemaker, being involved with her daughter’s school, and creating a loving household for her family up until she passed.

Nancy was a strong woman, enduring many obstacles and life changes from a long battle with illness which had changed her life, as well as her family’s lives, forever.

Nancy was a loving spouse and was happily married to Joe for 40 1/2 years. She has always been and still will be Joe’s Beautiful Bride and the Love of His Life Forever.

Nancy was an outstanding mother, and an unforgettable best friend, to her daughter, Jocelyn.

Nancy was our “rock” when we needed her. We will miss her each and every day.
