Nancy D'Auge, 90, of Kingston, NY, formerly of Brooklyn, NY, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 26, 2025, at Ten Broeck Center in Lake Katrine, NY. She was born on June 29, 1934, in Brooklyn, NY, daughter of the late Giovanni and Mary (Rocco) Acca. She was married to the love of her life for 53 years, the late Salvatore D'Auge who passed away in 2006.
Nancy was a Librarian Assistant for the Sunset Park Branch of the Brooklyn Public Library System for 27 years. After moving to Kingston, Nancy became a faithful Parishioner of St. Joseph's RC Church. She was a volunteer for many years at the Hudson Valley Senior Residence where she made many good friends and enjoyed interacting with the residents. She was an active member of the Hurley Senior Citizens Group and went on many bus trips with them. She loved traveling, old movies, and music. Food was a very big part of Nancy’s life, and she had a tremendous love of cooking and baking.
Nancy is survived by her children, Alfred (Valerie) D'Auge of Kingston, Catherine (Patrick) Carew of Cold Spring, NY, Vincent (Cindy) D'Auge of East Northport, NY, her grandchildren, Daniel (Samantha) D'Auge, Evan (Reaghan) D'Auge, Danielle D'Auge, and Vincent D'Auge, great grandchildren, Charlotte D'Auge and Archer D'Auge, as well as many devoted nieces and nephews. Of all her accomplishments in life, it was her love of family that was her greatest joy. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.
The family would like to especially thank the nurses and staff at the Ten Broeck Center for the excellent care they provided, as well as her wonderful friends and neighbors for their kindness and support.
Arrangements entrusted to Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, Kingston. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 11am on Monday March 31, 2025, at St. Joseph's RC Church, 242 Wall Street, Kingston, NY 12401. Burial will follow in Hurley Cemetery, Hurley, NY.
