Morton Brett

Morton Brett of Ridge Drive, West Hurley died Monday, August 27, 2007 at Kingston Hospital. He was 80. He was born July 17, 1927 in Brooklyn, a son of the late Morris and Lena Eisner Brett. Mr. Brett graduated from the US Naval Academy at Annapolis and served in the navy until 1956. An engineer, he retired from IBM in Kingston. He was a member of Congregation Ahavath Israel, the IBM Quarter Century Club and the Woodstock Country Club. He enjoyed gardening and sailing. Surviving is his wife, Hilda Woolfson Brett, two daughters, Bonnie Brett of Sharon, MA; Erica Silverman and her husband, Jerry of Newton, MA; and oe son, Marc Brett and his wife Wendy of Maplewood, NJ. Nine grandchildren also survive. Graveside services will be conducted Tuesday at 10:45 am in Sharon Memorial Park, Sharon, MA.
