Miriam Andrews

Town of Ulster - Miriam Andrews, a longtime resident at Ulster – Greene ARC Palmer Residence, Flatbush Road, died Friday, July 7, 2006 at Ten Broeck Commons Nursing Home. She was 78. Born in New York City on November 13, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Oscar and Ethel Glagett Andrews. For 53 years, since she was 7 years old, Miriam lived in Wassaic, NY. In 1987 she moved to Ulster – Greene ARC Palmer Residence. Miriam participated in the ARC Day Treatment and Palmer inhouse program. She is survived by many dear friends at Ulster – Greene ARC. Friends are welcomed to gather at Simpson – Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave. on Wednesday from 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM. A Funeral Service will then be conducted at the funeral home by Rev. Albert Schofield at 12:00. Interment will be in the Ulster - Greene ARC section of the Montrepose Cemetery.
