Mildred Gruberg, formerly of Kingston, died died Sunday, August 1, 2004 at Martin Memorial Hospital, Stuart, Florida. She was 77.
She was born in Brooklyn on October 14, 1926, a daughter of the late Murray and Lillian Greenburg Baker. Mildred first came to West Park with her parents and then settled in Kingston in 1950.
An avid bridge player and golfer, Mildred belonged to Wiltwyck Golf Club.
Her husband Gerard 'Jerry' Gruberg died September 2, 1986.
Surviving are her daughter Laurie Gruberg of Kingston, her son Barry Gruberg of Woodstock; her brother Richard Baker and his wife Lila of Catskill; six grandchildren Brett, Cody, Jessie and Yara Gruberg, Jeri and Aliyah Gruberg-Revty. Several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted by Rabbi Yael Romer on Thursday at 10:00 AM at Simpson – Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave. Interment will be in Montrepose Cemetery, Kingston.
