Michael Staccio

Michael 'Mickey' Staccio of Leggs Mills Road, Lake Katrine died at his residence on Saturday. He was 55. Born in Ogdensberg on September 12, 1950, he was a son of the late Michael and Dorothy Barney Staccio. Since age 14, Mickey has worked in blacktop construction. Self employed for many years, he owned and operated MJTBC Inc. in Kingston. He married Linda McCluskey on June 24, 2000. An infant son, Michael 'Little Mickey' Staccio died 33 years ago. One brother Phillip Staccio died previously. Surviving in addition to his wife are three sons Jason Staccio of Saugerties, Todd Staccio of Lake Katrine and Bobby Staccio and his fiance Marisa Winne of Lake Katrine; one daughter Chivon Boice and her husband Shawn of Lake Katrine; two brothers Leroy Staccio and Joseph 'Joey' Staccio, both of Lake Katrine, two sisters Melissa 'Missy' Staccio of Kingston and Michele Staccio of Lake Katrine; three grandchildren Justyna and Marisa Staccio and Kory Boice, many nieces and nephews. Reposing at the Simpson - Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave. on Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be conducted on Thursday at 12:00 at the funeral home, Pastor Vaughan Jarrold will officiate. Interment will be in Montrepose Cemetery.
