Michael F. Kiely

Michael Kiely, 87, of Cottekill, NY passed away on Friday, December 30, 2022 at Ferncliff Nursing Home in Rhinebeck, NY. He was born on September 16, 1935 in Limerick, Ireland and was the son of the late Joseph Kiely and Christina McCormack. Michael came to the US on July 4th 1965 and was married on July 12 1981, to Dinah Susan Brightman Wulfe.

Michael enjoyed sports, having played in his youth in the Leagues in Ireland, gardening, and working on home projects. He loved his family, his dog Teddy, and was extremely proud of his Irish heritage.

He is survived by his wife Dinah Kiely, his step-daughter Jennifer Wulfe, his step-son Benjamin Wulfe, his grandchildren Jay Wulfe, Luke Schimmrich, and Owen Schimmrich, and his niece, Pauline Daly and nephew Joseph Daly. In addition to his parents, Michael is preceded in death by his sister Rose Daly and his brother Patrick Kiely.
