Michael Inglese of Garraghan Drive died Tuesday, October 10, 2006 at Albany Medical Center, from complications of a needed surgery. He was 51.
He was born November 19, 1954. He grew up in the Westchester area then relocated to Kingston in the early eighties. For many years, he was employed by Gateway Industries in Kingston.
He was a friend and inspiration to all. He could be seen in any weather, wheeling that chair up and down the steep hills of Kingston, doing his shopping and daily chores. Mike participated in four New York City marathons with the Achilles Track Club and has numerous medals to his credit.
His friends became his family and will miss him dearly. Kingston has lost one of it’s valued citizens.
Funeral services will be conducted on Friday at 12:00 noon at Simpson-Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave., Kingston. Fr. Frank Wallner will officiate. Cremation will take place at Wiltwyck Cemetery.
