Michael Fairley

Michael Raymond Fairley 71, of Bradford, NY sadly passed away at his home on Thursday February 13th, 2025. Born in Albany, NY, he was the son of the late William B. Fairley Jr. and Ramona F. Delahant.

He obtained several degrees during his life, Master’s in Environmental Policy and Sustainability management at St. Joseph’s University in Philadelphia, PA. Bachelors in Science in Medical Technology at SUNY Plattsburg, Bachelors in Computer Science at SUNY New Paltz, Associate of Applied Science in Mathematics at SUNY Ulster, Kingston High School Graduate.

Retired from Corning INC. Corporate Safety Services in 2015. He was able to travel the world during his career at Corning INC. Michael enjoyed many hobbies. His love of music played the piano and most recently in his life was teaching himself how to play the guitar. Some of his favorite musicians Bob Dylan, Janice Joplin and Taylor Swift as well as the classics. He loved fast cars- Ferraris and many others. An avid animal lover, he was an equestrian. He loved his two cats, Ethos and Hershey.

Michael is survived by a sister Robin A. Fairley of Lake Katrine, NY, niece Adessa R. McMillian of Kingston, NY and nephew Tarell D. Fairley of Kingston, NY. As well as other distant nieces and nephews, many cousins and friends.

In addition to his parents Michael was predeceased by two brothers, Peter William Fairley and Anthony David Fairley.

Arrangements entrusted to Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, 326 Albany Avenue, Kingston, NY 12401, where Michael will be reposing on Thursday February 27, 2025 4pm-7pm, with a prayer service taking place at 7PM.

Funeral Service and interment will be privately held in St. Agnes Cemetery, Albany NY.
