Michael F. Staccio

Kingston- Michael F. Staccio of Lucas Avenue, died Monday, April 26, 2004 at Kingston Hospital. He was 78. He was born August 29, 1925 in Kingston, a son of the late Charles and Jennie Fay Staccio. For many years, he had been employed as a butcher and roofer in the Kignston area. The mother of his children, Dorothy Ann Barney Staccio died previously. Surviving are three sons, Leroy of Lake Katrine, Michael 'Mickey' and Joseph 'Joey' both of Kingston and two daughters, Melissa 'Missy' and Michelle, both of Kingston, three sisters, Bernice McCloskey and Mary Kaschel, both of Kingston and Agnes Sutton of Mt. Marion. Fourteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews also survive. One son, Philip, three brothers, Philip, Joseph G., Charles F. and a sister, Margaret Nicholes died previously. A funeral services will be conducted on Thursday at 11:30 am at Simpson-Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave. Deacon Jack Peters will officiate. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Kingston.
