Michael Barry Fox, 66, of Warren St., Kingston, died Wednesday, February 23, 2011 at Benedictine Hospital, after a short illness.
A veteran of the US Army, he served in Viet Nam in the 587th Signal Corp, from 1966 to 1968. Prior to his retirement, he had been a manager at Saks Fifth Ave. in NYC. He took great pleasure as master of ceremonies at their annual Christmas parties. His great passion besides his love of life was his fascination for scale model trains.
He was born August 22, 1944 in Brooklyn. He is survived by his wife Marie Fox, his children, Michael B. Fox, Jr. Dierdre Fox, brothers Brian and Patrick Fox, and his many dear friends Robert, Kris, Pepper, Isa, Andrea, Stephen and Kim. He was predeceased by a daughter Andrea Fox and a sister Maureen Grassi.
Entrusted to the care of the A. Carr & Son Funeral Home, 65 Lucas Ave, Kingston, friends will be received on Saturday from 1 - 4:30, with the service at 3:30 pm.
