Maxine R. Thomas

Maxine R. Thomas, 75, of Kingston, NY, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 14, 2019 at home in Kingston, NY. She was born July 27, 1944 in Saratoga Springs, NY the daughter of the late Ernest and May Walker.

She worked for Golden Hill Health Care Center in Kingston for many years. Maxine was a faithful servant, member, and usher at Riverview Missionary Baptist Church in Kingston. She enjoyed the company and support given to her by her fellow ushers. In her spare time, Maxine enjoyed collecting "Angel" figurines, sewing, and completing puzzles.

Maxine is survived by her husband, Aston Thomas, her son, James Courtwright, her step children, Norgia Thomas, Neresia Thomas, Kenneth Thomas, and McKayla Thomas, her siblings, Horace (Marcy Markle) Walker, and Ernestine Brown, her sister-in-law, Doreen R. Queen, as well as a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to her parents she is predeceased by her siblings, Chris St. John and Evelyn Walker.
