MaryAnn Berger, 53, of Bronxville, NY, passed away Sunday, July 10, 2016 after a long illness. She was born April 4, 1963 in Kingston, to Catheryn (Goble) Berger and the late Robert Gottfried Berger.
MaryAnn graduated from Kingston High School, Boston University, and Harvard Law School. She worked for several NYC law firms and was most recently the Principal Law Clerk for the Honorable Alan Marin in the NYS Court of Claims. She loved all forms of beauty, art, music, nature, decorating, literature, and Cape Cod.
She is survived by her dear friends; Edward Shapiro, Colleen Dunham, and "Tublu"; her mother, Catheryn Berger of Ulster Park; her aunt, Marilyn Hermance; her cousins, Judy, Jim, Cyndi, and Nate Snyder, Thom, Jamy, Graham, and Loukas Hermance, Karen and Tom Dwyer, Alan and Debbie Kent, Steven Kent, the late Brian Kent, Frankie Youngs, and Terri McGee. MaryAnn loved her shelties and especially her wonderful friend, Chester the Cat.
Entrusted to the care of Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, 216 Broadway, Port Ewen, where friends and family may visit on Friday July 15th from 4pm to 7pm. The funeral service will take place on Saturday at 11am at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 104 Wurts St., Kingston, NY 12401. Internment will take place in St. Remy Rural Cemetery.
