Mary Morello

Kingston - Mary Josephine Qualtere - Morello beloved wife of Frank L. Morello, cherished mother of Susan Aiello and Gene Morello, grandmother, aunt, sister, and friend passed away peacefully on Saturday December 31. Born October 3, 1920 to Angeline Sisco and Anthony Qualtere she grew up in the Town of Ulster in Flatbush, NY. Her greatest passion has always been her children and husband Frank whom she married on December 5, 1943. They celebrated 68 years together. She will be especially remembered for her gentle spirit, love for children and for those that were close to Mary, her kind heart. Mary was active in The Catholic Daughters and St. Mary's Rosary Society. She is survived by her two children, Susan Aiello and Gene Morello and wife Paula; her grandchildren, Joseph Aiello and wife Anne Marie, Jessica and Michael Morello. Her great grandchild: Danielle Aiello. Her two sisters Agnes Dohnken and Theresa Rua and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her beloved son-in-law Joe (Skip)Aiello, her sister Jenny Fabiano, brothers Frank and Thomas Qualtere and sister Louise Thalassites. Reposing at the Simpson Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave. on Tuesday 4 - 8 PM. The funeral procession will form on Wednesday at 9:00 AM from the funeral home. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary's Church at 10:00 AM. Entombment will follow in Wiltwyck Cemetery.
