Mary Katherine "Kathy" Erickson

Mary Katherine “Kathy” Erickson of Stuyvesant Charter Apartments died Thursday, January 15, 2004 at her residence. She was 48. She was born in Texas on September 5, 1955, a daughter of Patricia Myers Moore and the late Sidney Greer. Formerly of Poughkeepsie, Mrs. Erickson has lived in this area for over 20 years. A counselor for New York State, Mrs. Erickson attended SUNY New Paltz. She worshipped at Morning Star Christian Fellowship. One sister Jean Moore died previously. Surviving in addition to her mother of Newburgh, are one daughter Michelle Jolie Erickson of Kingston; two sons David and Matthew Erickson, both at home; one brother George Greer of Sylvan Lake; two sisters Charlotte Potvin of Queensboro and Christine Kistner of Los Banos, CA; two grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. Reposing at Simpson – Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave., on Monday from 10 –12 PM. A funeral service will be conducted at 12:00 PM by Pastor James Smith of the Morning Star Fellowship. Interment in Wiltwyck Cemetery.
