Mary Edith Badar, formerly of Wiltwyck Gardens, Albany Ave., Kingston died Tuesday, April 12, 2005 at the Northeast Center for Special Care. She was 48.
Born in Baltimore, MD, Mary was born on May 14, 1956, a daughter of the late Earl C. and Pauline S. Gross Ross, Sr. She lived in Maryland until age 27.
A Kingston resident for the past 15 years, her husband Hassan Mullah Badar died April 1, 1990.
An artist, Mary exibited some of her sketches at the YWCA art show.
One brother John Ross and one sister Shirley Wooten both died previously.
Surviving are her daughter Hasanai Badar of Kingston; two sisters Ruth Sears and Virginia Lewis, both of Dallas, TX; one brother Earl C. Ross Jr. of Glen Bernie, MD; and three nieces, Brenda Sue Wyrick, Melissa Kristien Guzman and Sharon K. Moore.
Reposing at the Simpson - Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave. on Thursday from 10:00 - 12:00. At noon a funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home, Peter Bae will officiate. Cremation will be private.
