Mary Ebel Shook

Mary E. Shook, 81, of Sunset Dr, Port Ewen, NY, died Friday, November 21, 2008 at Ten Broeck Commons, Lake Katrine, NY. She was born February 23, 1927 in Glasco, NY to the late Benjamin and Laura (Weeks) Ebel. Wife of the late Arthur D. Shook who died January 8, 1994.

Mary had been a seamstress working for local garment manufacturers.

She is survived by her daughter Sharon Terpening and her husband Edward of Painted Post, NY, her niece Ruth Ann Kime of Glasco, nephew Bradford Ebel of Glasco and a niece Penny Ebel of Saugerties.
She was predeceased by her sister, Ruth Hall, and her brothers Roland and Edward Ebel.

Entrusted to the care of the Keyser Funeral Service, Inc., 216 Broadway, Port Ewen, where services will be held on Monday at 10:00 am. Rev. Dr. David M. Brechter, officiating. Friends may call on Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Burial in Mt. Marion Cemetery.
