Mary Cullen Bunt

Mary Cullen Bunt formerly of Tenbroeck Avenue died Sunday, October 3, 2004 at TenBroeck Commons Nursing Home. She was 94. A native and lifelong Kingston resident, she was born on May 17, 1910, a daughter of the late Michael and Maria Malia Cullen. For many years Mrs. Bunt worked as a seamstress in area garment factories. A parishioner of St. Mary's Church, she worked in the cafeteria at Kingston Schools Consolidated. Her husband George Bunt died April 21, 1988. Surviving are four daughters Marjorie Misasi of Town of Ulster, Lenora Mancuso of Kingston, Helen Mae Dingman of Kingston, and Regina Duffy of Shokan; one son George 'Buddy' Bunt of Port Ewen; 11 grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. Four sisters Helen Clearwater, Ann Dunn, Stella and Rose Cullen and four brothers Austin, Thomas, James and Frank Cullen all died previously. Reposing at Simpson - Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave. on Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral will be Wednesday at 9:00 from the funeral home. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary's Church at 10:00 AM. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
