Martin T. Sioleski

Martin ''Mike'' Sioleski, 58, of Kingston, passed away Sunday, May 27, 2012 at home. He was born November 3, 1953 in Poughkeepsie, to the late Boland and the late Anne (Scott) Sioleski. He was married to Lori (Thoday) Sioleski. Mike was a Poughkeepsie High School Graduate, Class of 1972. He worked as a cook for the Hudson River Psychiatric Center in Poughkeepsie for many years until his retirement in 2008. Martin was a jack of all trades and would often work on cars. He loved fishing, cooking and most of all his family. In addition to his wife he is survived by his children, Michael Sioleski, Heather Sioleski and her fiance T.J. Gilbert, Jon Sioleski and his wife Kat and Haley Sioleski, all of Kingston, his siblings, June Wydra, Diana Gannon, Betty Bell and Robert Sioleski, as well as several nieces and nephews. Entrusted to the care of Luke Keyser of A. Carr & Son Funeral Home, 65 Lucas Ave, Kingston, NY 12401 where friends may call on Thursday from 4 - 7 pm. The family will be accepting memorial donations in the form of non perishable food items that will be donated to a local food pantry, there will be a collection bin at the funeral home.
