Mark John Cenova, 54, of Walden, NY, died Friday, April 5, 2013 at St. Luke's Cornwall Hospital. He was born February 1, 1959 in Montgomery, AL to Stanley Cenova of Maine and the late Pauline (Farrell) Cenova.




He spent his childhood in Johnson City, NY and graduated from Johnson City High School. He served his country in the US Navy and was a Life Member of the Johnson City VFW. Mark worked as a technician for MPI Inc. in Poughkeepsie, NY. He was an avid sportsman, enjoyed camping and could repair or rebuild anything.




In addition to his father he is survived by his son, Thomas W. Cenova of Johnson City, his son's mother, Chrisy Mireider of Johnson City, his lifelong friend Lori Zigata, his brother, David Cenova and his wife Patricia of Lake Katrine, NY, his nephew, Jonathan Cenova and his wife Jennifer of Ulster Park, NY, his niece, Krista Cenova-Sauer and her husband Chris, a great nephew, Timothy, a great niece, Emma, as well as several aunts and numerous cousins.




Visitation will be on Friday April 12th, 2013 from 7-9pm at Barber Memorial Funeral Home, 428 Main St., Johnson City, NY. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Johnson City.
