Marjorie Piccoli

Marjorie "Mrs. P'' Piccoli, 89, of Sleightsburg, died Tuesday, May 24, 2011 at Ten Broeck Commons in Lake Katrine. She was born November 15, 1921 in Stone Ridge to the late Emmett VanDemark and Beatrice (Stephens) VanDemark.

She married Frank Joseph Piccoli on December 31st 1941, Frank passed away on November 26th 1991.

Mrs. P was a Homemaker and loved raising her children and spending time with her 28 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren. She worked at the family business "Sea Deli" on Broadway in Kingston for many years as a cook.

She was a member of the Reformed Church of Port Ewen, as well as the DORCAS Society at the church.

She enjoyed traveling and took many cruises in her later years. She also loved feeding and watching birds from her back porch.

Mrs. P is survived by her children; Floyd "Skip" Osterhoudt of PA, Betty Garrett of Cragsmor, Rose Gaetjen of Saugerties, Frances Appolonia of Kingston, Frank J. Piccoli Jr. of Kingston, John Piccoli of Hurley, Gary Piccoli of VA and Michele Cross of Rhinebeck.

In addition to her husband and parents she is predeceased by her daughters; Charlotte Timmons, Sandra Lucas and Kim Piccoli as well as two brothers and two sisters.

Entrusted to the care of the Keyser Funeral Service, Inc., 326 Albany Avenue, Kingston, NY 12401 where friends may call on Friday from 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 pm at the funeral home.

Services will be held Saturday at 10:00 AM. at the funeral home.

Burial to follow in Benton Bar Cemetery, Kyserike.
