Marjorie Edwards

Marjorie “Pearl” Edwards, 93, of Saugerties, NY, passed away on Monday, September 26, 2022 from severe dementia. She had been a long-term patient at Ten Broeck Commons in Lake Katrine, NY.

She was born on June 6, 1929 in Chichester, NY and was the daughter of the late Vincent and Viola (North) Eckert. She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Edwards. She is survived by a daughter, Joyce Ann (Cucco) Ciarlante of Saugerties and a son, Anthony (Wanda) Papa of New Hampshire. Granddaughters, Allyson DeCicco, Stephanie Pranis, Nadena (Rich) Penovich, Barbie Quick, and Alison Ciarlante, three great grandsons and many nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind a sister, Rosemarie Becker of Ulster Park who has always been there for her.

She is predeceased by her first and second husband, Frank “Chubby” Cucco and Thomas F. Papa, her siblings Vera Merwin, Vincent “Buddy” Eckert, Ruth Storey, Shirley Pape, Doris Schaffer and Walter Eckert.

Arrangements entrusted to Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, Inc., 326 Albany Avenue, Kingston, NY 12401. At the request of Pearl, cremation will be done privately and no services will be held.
