Marion R. Koskie

Marion R. Koskie, 91, of Kingston, passed peacefully, Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at Ten Broeck Commons, Lake Katrine. She was born March 17, 1925 in Valley Falls, NY, the daughter of the late Charles and Anna Waters Rowe.


She was the wife of the late Thomas J. Koskie, Sr., he passed on January 3, 2014.


Mrs. Koskie was a graduate Kingston High School, class of 1941. For 44 years she had worked for Rondout National Bank, which became Norstar Bank, retiring in 1987.


She was a parishioner of St. Mary's RC Church.


Mrs. Koskie is survived by her son Thomas J. Koskie, Jr. and his wife Michele of Kingston, a grandson, Michael J. Koskie of Kingston; her sisters Helen Olsen of Kingston, Jean Vertetis of Kingston and Rita Zaharchuk of Blooming Grove, NY. Many nieces and nephews also survive. She was predeceased by her siblings William J. Rowe, Warren Rowe, Dorothy Rowe, Marjorie Peters, Eleanor Kelder, Ruth Nielson and Ethel Rowe.



Entrusted to the care of the Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, 326 Albany Avenue, Kingston. The family will receive their friends on Friday from 4 - 7 pm. The procession will form on Saturday at 9 am. At 10 am a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mary's RC Church.

Burial to follow at St. Peter's Cemetery, Kingston.
