Marion L Koeppen

Marion L Koeppen, 88, of West Hurley, NY, passed away Sunday, October 9, 2016 at Ferncliff Nursing Home, Rhinebeck. She was born on October 12, 1927 in Saugerties, NY, to the late Eustace and Augusta (Becker) Pothemont. She was the wife of the late Charles W. Koeppen, he passed November 29, 2015.


Mrs. Koeppen was a graduate of Kingston High School. She began her working career at Kreske's, then Barclay Knit Wear, and then Rotron of Woodstock, retiring in 1989.


She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and her hobbies included knitting.


She is survived by her son Charles W. Koeppen, Jr. of West Hurley, and was predeceased by her sisters Dorothy Petersen, Helen Quick, Florence Wager, Evelyn Halwick, Hilda Wilson and a brother Alex Pothemont.


Entrusted to the care of the Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, 326 Albany Avenue, Kingston, where friends may visit on Thursday from 4 - 7 pm. The service will be on Friday at 10 am, at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Montrepose Cemetery.
