Marilyn Styles

Marilyn Styles, 71, of Dick Williams Lane, Ulster Park, formerly of Catskill, died Thursday, April 14, 2011 at Kingston Hospital after short illness.

She was a graduate of Kingston High School, class of 1957. Marilyn had worked at United Health Care until her retirement in 1999. After her retirement, she had worked at the Rondout School district. She was the wife of the late Benjamin "Gerry" Styles; he died on April 24, 2006.

Marilyn enjoyed line dancing, crocheting, watching hummingbird's and butterflies, gardening, shopping and especially loved to spend time with family.

She was born July 2, 1939 in Kingston, the daughter of the late Earl and Margaret O'Bryan Jones.

Marilyn is survived by her loving family, her daughter Tammy Cashara and her partner Cheryl Jasienowski, Saugerties, son Charles Bishop, Jr. and his wife Donna, Kerhonkson, sister Andrea Hughes and her husband Evan, Town Of Ulster, brother Gerard Jones and his wife Anna, Mt Marion, 3 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.


Entrusted to the care of the Keyser Funeral Service, Inc., 326 Albany Avenue, Kingston. The family will receive their friends on Sunday from 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 pm. The service will be held on Monday at 11:00 am. The Rev. Dr. David M. Brechter, officiating. Burial in Fairview Cemetery, Stone Ridge
