Marilyn Lemoine Mahler of Village Court, Kingston died Monday, October 8, 2007 at Benedictine Hospital. She was 58.
She was born January 23, 1949 in Bunkie, LA a daughter of the late Gaston and Kate Chatelain Lemoine.
Mrs. Mahler received her BS from Louisiana State University and her MS from Ohio State University. A speach pathologist, she more recently practiced as a massage therapist at her business, Hands On Health.
A member of Temple Emanuel in Kingston, she was also very active in the Linda Young Ovarian Cancer Support Group at Benedictine Hospital and was active in advocacy research, writing and speaking regarding ovarian cancer. She enjoyed gardening.
Surviving is her husband, Richard and her son Michael both of Kingston, her brother, Gaston Lemoine Jr. of Wimberley, TX, her mother-in-law, Anne Mahler of Hauppauge; aunt-in-law, Gertrude Brown; brother and sister-in-law David and Linda Mahler; niece and nephew-in-law, Nick and Audrey Reese, nieces and nephews, Brett Lemoine, Yvette Masters and cousins, Barbara Maxwell, James Lachney, Christine and Jason Blansett, Vernon Lemoine, Fred Lachney and Lynn Burke.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday at 10:00 am at Temple Emanuel in Kingston.
