Marie L. Miller

Marie L. (Rose) Miller, 78, of Manvel, TX, formerly of Accord, died Tuesday, July 1, 2008 in Manvel, Texas. She was born December 3, 1929 in Olive Bridge, NY to the late Allen G and Ora L. Rose.

She was married to Granvel V. Miller who died on July 7, 2004. She was a graduate of Kingston High School class of 1948, and then attended the Moran School of Business. She retired from Imperial Schrade of Ellenville in December 1991. She was a volunteer at the food pantry in Manvel, Texas

She is survived by daughters, Rose Marie Morgan; Phillipsport, NY, Joan Anne Sojka; South Bend, IN, Marilda D. Ward; Randolph, OH, Cherrell J. Hill; Napanoch, NY, Ora Lisa Britton; Manvel, TX, Son, Warren A. Miller; Kingsland, AK, Sister, Jane Anne Rowe; Kingston, NY, Brother, Louis A. Rose; Smithville, TX, James E. Rose; Kingston, NY, 15 Grandchildren, 7 Great grandchildren, 8 Step grandchildren, 10, Step great grandchildren, several nephews and nieces Predeceased by her brother, Alfred Rose and 2 Grandchildren.


A graveside memorial service will be held for Marie and her husband Granvel at the Tongore Cemetery, Olive Bridge, NY on Sunday, August 10th at 3:00 PM, Rev. Dr. David M. Brechter, officiating.
