Marie C. Rigg, 87, of Lake Katrine, formerly of Whiting, NJ, passed away Friday, November 20, 2015 at Ten Broeck Commons.

She was born February 27th, 1928 in Brooklyn, NY to the late Martin and Mary (Cardiello) Damato. She was married to Douglas G. Rigg who passed away on January, 16th 1988. Marie was a member of the Knights of Columbus and was active in her community in Whiting, NJ.

She is survived by her children, Douglas P. Rigg and his wife Janet of Hillsborough, NJ, Elizabeth Cologero and her husband Nick of Lake Katrine, grandchildren, Melissa Cologero of Saugerties, Nick Cologero and his wife Stacie of Olivebridge, as well as several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her sister, Jean Damadeo.

Entrusted to the care of Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, 326 Albany Ave., Kingston, where friends and family may visit on Tuesday November 24th from 2pm to 5pm with a prayer service at 4:30pm. Inurnment will take place in Brig. Gen. Wm. C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Wrightstown, NJ.
