Marguerita Costanza Sullivan

Marguerita Costanza Sullivan, of Bangor, Maine, died Nov. 4, 2006 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was 76. She was born September 11, 1930 in Revere, Massachusetts, a daughter of the late Louis and Catherine Laraia Costanza. She was a graduate of Revere High School in Revere, Mass. and Nasson College in Springvale, Maine. Surviving are her husband of 46 years, Daniel Joseph Sullivan, Sr., seven children Kate Sullivan of Sebastopol, Calif.; Maria Davenport and husband Robert of Kingston, N.Y.; Daniel Sullivan, Jr. and wife Sherri of Bangor, Maine; Louis Sullivan and wife Pamela of Lisbon Falls, Maine; Joseph Sullivan of Montreal, Quebec; Paula Sullivan of Kittery, Maine; and Rita Sullivan of Medford, Mass.; eleven grandchildren Melinda, Daniel Edward, Rebekah, Anthony, Rachelle, and Nathaniel Sullivan; Tara Flagg and husband Jacob; Aleah, Margaret, Hunter and Brandon Davenport; all of whom brought her great joy, and for whom she loved sewing, cooking, and passing along family traditions. She is also survived by her brother Joseph Costanza and wife Denice of Orange, Calif., and their children Anne Williams, Janet Yeckley, Terese Credle, and Ellen Knapic and John Costanza, one brother-in-law Richard Sullivan and his daughter Audrey Sullivan. One sister Maria Costanza Sullivan and one granddaughter Maria Therese Sullivan both died previously. She will be greatly missed by friends and family, and the many organizations for which she volunteered. Reposing at the Greenlawn Funeral Home, 300 State St., Bangor on Monday from 3-5 and 7-9 PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. John’s Catholic Church, Bangor on Tues at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to: Alaska Radio Mission – KNOM P.O.
