Margaret Shultis

Margaret ''Karen'' (Tempelaar) Shultis, 85, of Kingston, passed away, Wednesday, July 24, 2013 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie. She was born January 28, 1928 in Lynbrook, NY to the late Harry and Karen (Vestergaard) Tempelaar.

She was married to Clifford Shultis, Clifford passed away on August 3rd 1989. Karen was a homemaker, she loved horses and horse racing.

She is survived by her children, Linda Wakefield of Apalchin, Michael Shultis of Hurley, David Shultis of Olive, John Shultis of Hurley, Karen Kelly of Lake Katrine, as well as 13 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, Karen is predeceased by her daughter Tammy P. Shultis and her brother Harry Tempelaar.

Entrusted to the care of Luke Keyser of A. Carr & Son Funeral Home, 65 Lucas Ave, Kingston. A graveside service will be held on the 24th Anniversary of Karen's husband's death, Saturday August 3rd at 10am at Hurley Cemetery in Hurley, NY.
