Margaret ''Peggy'' Mitchell, 88, of Kingston, passed peacefully Monday evening May 6, 2013 at Ferncliff Nursing Home, Rhinebeck. She was born October 15, 1924, in Newark, the daughter of the late Allan and Ida MacDonald.




She was the wife of the late Albert F. "Herbie" Mitchell, he died March 7, 2010. With her husband they had owned and operated the Trolley Dinner and the Jury Box. She was an avid Mets fan, she loved cooking, playing cards and spending time with her family






Peggy is survived by her loving family, her children Darlene G. Neitzel and her husband Cornell of Lords Valley, PA, Albert F. Mitchell, Jr., and his wife Dorothy of Sawkill, Robert A. Mitchell and his wife Karen of Port Ewen, Earl J. Mitchell and his wife Leslie of Kingston, Eugene M Mitchell and his wife Kristi of Wappingers Falls, NY, 8 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and a brother Allan MacDonald of California.






Entrusted to the care of Eric Keyser, Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, 326 Albany Avenue, Kingston. Friends may call on Thursday from 5 - 8 pm at the funeral home. The services will be held this Friday at 10:00 am, Rev. Joseph Mitchell, officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. Light a candle in memory of ''Peggy'' at www.KeyserFuneralService.com .
