Margaret M. Speer

Margaret M. Speer, 80, of Saugerties, NY, formerly of Kingston, NY, passed away Monday October 16, 2017 at home with her loving husband of 61 years, Ralph G. Speer, by her side. She was born April 14, 1937 in Rifton, NY, the daughter of the late George and Emily (Eckert) Mericle.

Margaret was a graduate of Kingston High School and had been a Legal Secretary for Floyd H. Powell, Esq. in Kingston. After her retirement from Key Trust, she assisted her husband in his business, R.G. Speer Fine Art & Framing. In addition to her husband she is survived by her daughter and son in law; Tanya and Andrew Hall of Hyde Park and her grandchildren, Riley and Braeden Hall. She was predeceased by her brother, Ronald Mericle.

Entrusted to the care of Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, 326 Albany Avenue, Kingston where family and friends may visit on Friday October 20 from 4pm to 7pm. The funeral service will take place on Saturday October 21 at 10am at the funeral home. Entombment will follow in Wiltwyck Community Mausoleum.
