Margaret J Mullen

Margaret J. Mullen, 97, of Lafayette Avenue, Kingston, NY, died Tuesday May 11, 2010 at home. She was born on June 27, 1912 in Kingston to the late Charles J. and Margaret C. Campbell Mullen.




She was predeceased by her sisters Anne and Mary Mullen. She is survived by her nephew John J. Campbell of Concord, NH.




Margaret went to the St. Joseph's School before graduating from Kingston High School in 1930. She went on to receive a Bachelors degree from The College of Mt. St. Vincent in 1934. She then taught English at the Kingston High School for 42 years until her retirement.




She was a member of: The Benedictine Hospital Auxiliary, Association of University Women and The Kingston Library Association. She was a parishoner of St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Chuch in Kingston.




Entrusted to the care of the A. Carr & Son Funeral Home, 65 Lucas Ave, Kingston, NY 12401, where the procession will form on Friday at 9:15 am and proceed to St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM




Burial will follow in St Mary's Cemetery, Kingston.
