Margaret Freda Buda

Margaret Freda 'Peg' Buda, formerly of New Port Richey, Fl and Stratford, CT died Sunday, February 26, 2006 at Benedictine Hospital. She was 91. She was born July 20, 1914 in Bridgeport, CT a daughter of the late John Andrew and Olga A. Larsen Thompson. While a resident of Florida, she attended the Asbury United Methodist Church, was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary, Chester McKay Post # 7987 VFW and volunteered at the North Bay Medical Center, all in New Port Richey, FL. Her husband, Bernard John Buda whom she married on June 19, 1943 died September 14, 2002. Surviving is her daughter, with whom she resided, Carol Massaro and her husband, Jack of Kingston, a sister-in-law, Elsie Thompson of Bether, CT, a nephew, Frederick Thompson and his wife Margaret of Milford, CT, a niece, Virginia Olsen of Danbury, CT. Four granddaughters, a grandson and a great-grandson also survive. Her son, Robert Alan Buda and her brother, Elmer Andrew Thompson died previously. Cremation will take place at Wiltwyck Cemetery.
