Margaret Elmendorf

Margaret R. Elmendorf of Farrelly St., Kingston died Monday, March 16, 2009 at her residence. She was 54. She was the daughter of the late Augustus Rhoades Elmendorf and Margaret Hart Elmendorf. A lifelong area resident she was a parishinoer of St. Mary's Church. Margie previously worked at First Boston Corporation (a New York-based investment bank.) A local hospital volunteer, Margie was an animal lover and cared for many cats. Surviving are three brothers Wayne Elmendorf and his wife Joanne of Kingston, Dennis Elmendorf of West Hurley and Robert J. Elmendorf of Kingston; three nephews Christopher and Cole Elmendorf and Dennis Roudis. Many aunts, uncles and cousins also survive. Reposing at the Simpson - Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave. on Thursday from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. The funeral procession will form on Friday at 9:15 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary's Church at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
