Margaret Carlson Elmendorf

Margaret Carlson Elmendorf of Farrelly Street, Kingston died Wednesday, December 10, 2003 at Kingston Hospital. She was 78. She was born in Kingston on September 29, 1925, a daughter of the late Jeremiah and Rose Bishop Hart. A parishioner of St. Mary's Church, she was a member of the Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians. Her husband Augustus Rhoades Elmendorf died December 5, 1969. One sister Rose McDonough and one brother George F. Hart both died previously. Surviving are her three loving sons Wayne Elmendorf and his wife Joanne of Kingston, Dennis Elmendorf of Olivebridge and Robert J. Elmendorf of Kingston; her loving daughter Margaret Elmendorf of Kingston; two brothers Vincent J. Hart of Lake Katrine and Robert Hart of Kingston; one sister Roberta Jones of Kingston; three grandsons Dennis, Christopher and Cole; many nieces and nephews. Reposing at Simpson - Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave., Kingston on Friday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral will be Saturday at 9:15 AM from the funeral home. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary's Church at 10:00 AM. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
