Margaret A. Clearwater

Margaret A. Clearwater, 84, a lifelong resident of Kingston, died Saturday, January 14, 2012 at Ten Broeck Commons Health Care Facility. Born in Kingston, she was the daughter of the late Frank & Anna Carl Barnes. She worked at the Hercules Powder Plant for 39 years, retiring in 1988. She is survived by her daughter, Shelley Simmons (Wayne) of Kingston, her brother, William Barnes of Maryland, her sister, Emma Sheridan of Kingston, her granddaughters, Heidi Simmons and Heather Zelehoski. Her dear friend Barbara Walker and many nieces and nephews also survive. She was predeceased by her husband Robert Clearwater, her sister, Anna Finch and her two brothers, Ruel and Frank Barnes. Reposing at the Simpson-Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave. on Tuesday 6-8 PM. The funeral procession will form on Wednesday at 9:15 AM from the funeral home. A funeral mass will be celebrated at Holy Cross Church at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow in Wiltwyck Cemetery.
