Mae Plough

Mae Davis Plough, 90 of Stone Ridge, NY, died Sunday, January 9, 2011 at The Golden Hill Health Care Center. She was born June 20, 1920 in Boiceville, NY to the late Perry and Sadie Smith Davis.

She was married to Donald Plough who passed away in 1950.

Mae worked at the Fuller Shirt Factory in Kingston before working for IBM in Kingston for many years until her retirement. After her retirement she worked part time at the Hasbrouck House in Stone Ridge.

She was especially fond of her Boston Terrier Cricket. She enjoyed gardening and reading.

Mae is survived by her brother Oliver Davis of Stone Ridge, a sister Flossie Davis of Stone Ridge as well as many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents she was predeceased by her siblings, Matilda Elemendorf, Nettie Boice, Millie Keator, Florence Johnson, Authur Davis, Perry Davis and James Davis.

Entrusted to the care of the A. Carr & Son Funeral Home, 65 Lucas Ave, Kingston, NY 12401, where services will be held on Thursday at 8:00 pm at the funeral home.

Burial will take place Friday at 11 am in Fairview Cemetery, Stone Ridge.

Friends may call on Thursday from 2 - 4 & 7 - 8 pm at the funeral home.

The family suggests in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be made to the Marbletown First Aid Unit, 30 School Hill Road, High Falls, NY 12440
