Madge E. Greene

Madge E. Greene, 86, of Kingston, NY, died Saturday, November 26, 2011 at Kingston Hospital, Kingston, NY. She was born October 10, 1925 in Hurley, NY to the late Henry W. and the late Hilary (Conright) Johnston.




She was married to Merle C. Greene. Merle died on April 1, 1996.




She was a Cutter for Kingston Knitting Mills, Kingston, NY., for 25 years. Then worked for Soft Images also of Kingston.




Madge is survived by her sister; June Bennett of Lamontville, NY, her son; Gary D. Greene of Hurley, NY, daughters; Nancy and her husband Craig Johnson of West Hurley, NY and Sondra K. Serra of Kingston, NY. and Christine Sickler of Samsonville, NY., who was like a daughter to Madge.




She was predeceased by Merle C. Greene, an infant son, and a brother Donald Johnston.




Entrusted to the care of the Keyser Funeral Service, Inc., 326 Albany Avenue, Kingston.


Friends may call on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9pm at the funeral home.


Services will be held this Wednesday at 11:00 AM. at the funeral home.




Burial to follow at Wiltwyck Cemetery, Kingston.
