Mabel Emma Striegl

Mabel Striegl, 93, of Port Ewen, passed peacefully, Sunday, May 29, 2016 at the Golden Hill Health Care Center, Kingston. She was born November 4, 1922 in Ulster Park, the daughter of the late Luther and Mabel Ellsworth.


She was the wife of the late Frank A Striegl, he passed on March 3, 1986. A life time member of the Reformed Church of Port Ewen, in her later years, she was a very active member, and was a member and served as President of the DORCAS Society. Mabel enjoyed working in the yard, baking and participating in church events.


Mabel is survived by her son Frank L. Striegl and his wife Sonia, grandsons Frank V. Striegl and his wife Ayaka and Mark E. Striegl and his wife Starr. She was predeceased by a sister Pearl Cooper and a brother Elton Ellsworth.


Entrusted to the care of Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, 216 Broadway, Port Ewen, the family will receive their friends on Friday, June 3rd, from 4 - 7 pm.


The service will be at the Reformed Church of Port Ewen on Saturday, June 4th at 11 am with burial to follow in Riverview Cemetery.
